- Description
- The Savannah District, U.S. Army Corps of Engineers has a requirement to provide maintenance dredging in Savannah and Brunswick Harbors. The project consists of dredging approximately two to three million cubic yards of maintenance material from the Entrance Channels of Savannah and Brunswick Harbors, Chatham and Glynn Counties, Georgia. The dredged material will be placed in offshore disposal areas. The required dredging window will be 15 December 2008 through 31 March 2009. The contract issued will be a Firm Fixed Price Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity contract. The magnitude of construction is between $5,000,000.00 and $10,000,000.00. The Invitation for Bids (IFB) will be issued on or about 4 September 2008 and open on or about 7 October 2008. This is an unrestricted acquisition. The solicitation will be issued in electronic format only and will be posted on FedBizOpps.
