Description
This is an acquisition to obtain firm fixed price for a repair contract for the following items applicable to the MC-130H Combat Talon II Aircraft: Item 0001: NSN 5930-01-311-5657LG, Part Number: 707-5412, Noun: Track Handle Switch Assembly. The Best Estimated Quantity (BEQ) is 1-14 each for the basic. There will be four (4) annual options. The BEQ for option years is 1-14 for each item. Sole Source to Mason Electric Company, 13955 Balboa Blvd, Sylmar CA 91342, Cage Code (81579), Authority 10 USC 2304 ( C) (1), Only One or a Limited number of Responsible Sources, and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. The purpose of the Ombudsman is not to diminish the authority of the program director or the contracting officer, but to communicate serious contractor concerns, issues, disagreements, and recommendations to the appropriate government personnel. When requested, the Ombudsman will maintain strict confidentiality as to the source of the concern. The Ombudsman does not participate in the evaluation of proposals in the source selection process.
