Description

The Environmental Management Group at the Nevada Test Site is requesting an expression of interest for a design/built subcontract for a Resource Conservation and Recovery Act (RCRA) compliant mixed waste landfill. The landfill must include a double liner and a leachate collection system with an approximate disposal capacity of 20,000 cubic meters. As an option, the design, installation and development of approximately four RCRA compliant, groundwater monitoring wells (approximate depth of 900 feet) may be part of the subcontract. Engineering drawings must be compatible with MicroStation V8 XM edition. All on-site construction work must be performed in accordance with the Construction Project Labor Agreements for the Nevada Test Site. A copy of this labor agreement can be found on the internet at http://www.nstec.com/ppmgt/pdfs/07const.pdf. The successful Subcontractor will also be required to have a Quality Assurance Program that meets the requirements of 10CFR830.120. An audit of your facility to verify you are working to this program may also be required prior to award. Interested parties shall submit evidence of prior experience on similar projects to the point of contact listed above.
