Description
The VA Great Lakes Acquisition Center (GLAC) intends to negotiate a sole source buy with LOGICARE Corporation of Eau Claire, WI for the Clinical Teacher's Pet Patient Education System, on-site training, and support, in connection with mission objectives of the Patient Care Service of the Tomah VA Medical Center. To the best of our knowledge LOGICARE Corporation is the only company that provides software which is capable of allowing information in separate healthcare applications to be connected so that each application refers to the same patient, encounter or user, with a single log on. LOGICARE's Clinical Teacher's Pet software allows clinical teachers to organize and plan their teaching by allowing users to view information about a patient as part of their instructional process, as well as, allows other medical disciplines to contribute to learning topics. This procurement is being conducted in accordance FAR 6.302-1, only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy the agency requirements. The resulting contract will be firm fixed price and the NAICS Code is 511210. This Notice of Intent is not a request for competitive proposals. No solicitations documents are available and telephone requests will not be honored. However, if a firm believes it can meet the requirements aforementioned, then firms must furnish detailed information about its products and or services, as well as references from other customers who are using these products and or services. This information must be submitted to the Contracting Officer within (5) calendar days from the date of this synopsis publication. Supporting evidence must be furnished in sufficient detail to demonstrate the ability to comply with the above requirement. Information must be sent to the Contracting Officer, VAMC GLAC, 5000 W. National Ave Bldg. 5, Milwaukee WI 53295 or via fax to (414) 902-5440. Responses received will be evaluated however; a determination by the Government not to compete the proposed procurement based upon responses to this notice, is solely within the discretion of the Government. If no responses are received, the GLAC will proceed with the sole source negotiation with LOGICARE Corporation.
