Description
The Missouri Army National Guard intends to issue the contract mentioned above to Helispec, operating out of Brantley, AL, in accordance with FAR 6.206 as a Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business Set-Aside. Performance of work under this contract is as follows: 1.Paint exterior of Aircraft and Cabin Underfloor area (Bilge). 2.Paint in accordance with TM 55-1500-345-23 and TM 1-1520-240-23-2. 3.Include removal and reinstallation of Rotor blades, floor panels, cowlings, etc. required to gain access for priming and painting. 4.Surface prep will be performed in accordance with TM 55-1500-345-23 in a manner that will not harm the aircraft. Plastic Media Blast will be performed in accordance with AMCOM Engineering Directive AED-A1116 & MIL-P-85891A. 5.After surface preparation and prior to painting, all surfaces shall be inspected for corrosion, any uniform surface corrosion found shall be removed and treated in accordance with TM 55-1500-345-23/TM 1-1500-344-23. Any corrosion that is found to be pitted, intergranular or galvanic shall be brought to the attention of the customer for inspection and evaluation. 6.Markings and stencils shall be in accordance with TM 55-1500-345-23. All stencils to be digitally reproduced on vinyl which will be used to spray the markings for each aircraft. 7.Vendor shall be responsible for all Hazmat used in the painting process. 8.Customer will have the right to inspect the aircraft at any phase of the painting operation. 9. Paints to be used on the aircraft are as follows: Exterior Primer MIL-P-23377F Exterior Paint MIL-C-53039A or Suitable Equivalent Bilge Primer MIL-PRF-85582 Bilge Paint MIL-PRF-22750 (Glossy White) Non-skid: A-A-59166 Interested vendors with a Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business able to perform these services need to respond within ten days.
