- SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE Maintenance and Repair of various type of Computer Numerical Control (CNC) machines. This is a sources sought announcement only. There is no solicitation available at this time. This synopsis is issued for the sole purpose of conducting Market Research in accordance with the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 10. This effort is to seek out qualified sources (large or small business) capable of providing preventative maintenance and repair services on the following types of Government owned CNC machines: Haas, VF7, VMC, Haas control, (1) each;Viper VT30GL, lathe, Fanuc control, (2) each;Clausing Colchester, Storm T4A, lathe, GE Fanuc control, (2) each;Kearney & Trecker data mill 700, mill, Fanuc control, (1) each;Bullard 6000 Universal, lathe, GE Fanuc control, (1) each;Fadal CMV6030 HT, VMC, GE Fanuc control, (2) each;Fadal VMC3016HT, VMC, GE Fanuc, (2) each;Flow Jet Integrated flying bridge 6012, Water Jet, Flow jet control, (1) each The Government requires quarterly preventative maintenance and repair services on an as needed basis. The equipment and service location is the Southwest Regional Maintenance Center, San Diego, CA 92136. The intent is to issue a base year and options for the required services. Small or large companies that have experience with these types of machines and are capable of meeting these requirements are encouraged to respond to this notice by September 12, 2008. The submission of this information is for planning purposes only, and is not to be construed as a commitment by the Government to procure any items or services. The information will not be returned, and no compensation will be provided from any response to this announcement. Proprietary information submitted will be protected, when so designated. Responses may be in any format, including the firms standard literature. The following key information is requested: 1) Business Size and CAGE code2) NAICS code (North American Industrial Classification Systems Code)3) Personnel Qualifications4) Statement of Capabilities of your company.
