Description
REQUIREMENT: The General Services Administration is seeking to lease 6,270-6,930 rentable square feet of contiguous office and related space for the Census Bureau in Chicago (Central), Illinois together with three (3) on-site reserved parking spaces. The space must be within the delineated area described below. LOCATION: The area in Chicago (Central), Illinois within the following boundaries: NORTH BOUNDARY: From I-90/94, exit at Fullerton Ave., turn south onto N. Elston Ave. to Site #6. Continue southeast on N. Elston Ave to Ashland. Go south on Ashland to N. Milwaukee Ave., turn right, northeast onto N. Milwaukee Ave. to Site #5. Continue northwest on N. Milwaukee to W. Wabansia Ave. Travel west on W. Wabansia Ave. to N. Western Ave. Turn south on N. Western Ave. to W. North Ave. Head west on W. North Ave. to Site #3. Continue west on W. North Ave. to Site #2 and Site #1. EAST BOUNDARY: From W. Fullerton Ave., go west to N. Elston Ave. turn south onto N. Elston Ave. to Site #6. On N. Elston Ave, head southeast on N. Ashland Ave. amd continue to Site #4. *NOTE: All sites must be located within the Illinois 8th US Congressional District REQUIRED: The space must be contiguous and located on one floor in commercial, retail, industrial/flex or warehouse space. The building should have a loading dock or have forklift accessibility for deliveries. Lease should be “Full Service;” all services, supplies, utilities, and tenant alterations are to be provided as part of the rental consideration. A variety of inexpensive, and moderately priced fast food and/or eat-in restaurants within three blocks, and other employee services such as retail shops, cleaners, banks, etc. should be available within one-half (1/2) mile. Property located within a base floodplain (100-year floodplain) or wetland will not be considered. The building offered must not contain asbestos. Buildings offered must be of sound and substantial construction of the type generally recognized as modern office-type buildings having fully adequate means of ingress and egress, must fully meet the Architectural Barriers Act Accessibility Standard (ABAAS) or capable of being altered to meet ABAAS. The building must also conform to current seismic requirements. LEASE TERM: Term is 16 months, 12 months firm.
