Description
The purpose of this amendment is to post the Questions and Answers as a result of questions submitted in response to FDA-RFQ-1048361. Questions (Q) and Answers (A) are shown below: Q: I would like to know if this is a new requirement or if there is an incumbent performing the work. I also would like to know if this is a FFP, labor hour, etc.. contract type. I am looking for the following information regarding the incumbent contract: 1. Incumbent award date 2. awarded to whom 3. contract value 4. contract number A: There is no incumbent performing this work. Q: I also would like to know if this is a FFP, labor hour, etc.. contract type. A: This will be a firm, fixed price purchase order. Q: We are writing to request clarification of the time of submission for the subject RFQ. Page of the solicitation indicates a due time of 12:00 Pacific, but page 12, Section entitled "Quotation Due" indicates 12:00 EST. Could you please clarify for us if the time of submission is 12:00 p.m. Pacific or Eastern time? A: The closing time is September 8, 2008 at 12:00 pm Eastern time Q: What is the proposed money amount of the award? A: The maximum firm, fixed price for any resultant award will be $40,000 Q: Will overhead be a component to consider when budgeting? A: As noted above, the maximum firm, fixed price award will be $40,000. Offerors should included all costs in their price proposal as that will be a firm, fixed price amount. It is noted that any resultant award will be a firm, fixed price purchase order under Federal Acquisition Regulations. This is not a grant.
