***ATTENTION*** ALL FORMAL COMMUNICATION RELATED TO THIS ACQUISITION MUST BE DIRECTED to Garry Biller, Contracting Officer, email: garry.biller@us.army.mil. No telephone request will be accepted. PRON: AX8F0889AX, NSN: 5975-01-560-7501, P/N: 70550-02416-041, Quantity 10 each, applicable to the UH-60 Airframe This procurement is restricted to the following approved sources: Sikorsky Aircraft (cage 78286). Required delivery is 10 each 204 days after contract award (DACA). F.O.B. Origin with delivery to Texarkana, TX. The design of this part is unstable. Engineering, manufacturing, or performance characteristics indicate that the required design objectives have not been achieved. Major changes are contemplated because the part has a low process yield or has demonstrated marginal performance during tests or service use. These changes will render the present part obsolete and unusable in its present configuration. Adequate technical data is not available for this acquisition. This part requires engineering source approval by the design control activity in order to maintain the quality of the part. Existing unique design capability, engineering skills, and manufacturing knowledge by the qualified source(s) require acquisition of the part from the approved source(s) require acquisition of the part from the approved source(s). This acquisition contains data which is considered Critical Technology and has been restricted for release outside the United States. This information cannot be released outside the United States without prior approval of the Government. Foreign Firms are reminded that all requests for solicitation must be processed through their respective embassies. All offerors must meet prequalification requirements in order to be eligible for award. Firms that recognize and can produce the required item described above are encouraged to identify themselves. Firms are encouraged to seek source approval in order to compete for future solicitations by accessing the website www.redstone.army.mil/cmo/ and looking under Standard Aviation and Missile Source Approval Request (SAMSAR). All responsible sources may submit an offer, which shall be considered by the Agency. The closing date annotated is an estimated date and may be adjusted dependent upon the date of release for solicitation. however, solicitation will not close prior to the closing date stated above. See Numbered Notes 22, 23 and 26.
