- Requirements: The U.S. Joint Munitions & Lethality Life Cycle ManagementCommand Joint Armaments Contracting Center anticipates purchasing Six (6)each Ubisense Series 7000 Sensors, with Six (6) each Series 7000 outdoorsensor cases, and Six (6) each associated software licenses. Additional BrandName or Equal sensor components compatible with the Ubisense system are necessary to expand the range and coverage of the system. Government Minimum Requirements follow: The system or components must operate in an outdoor environment as well as an indoor environment. The system or components must be easily assembled and disassembled in order to move from test locations daily. Both assembly and disassembly of the entire system shall take no more than 1 hour each way, with one person doing the work. The system or components must provide a wireless, discreet capability to gather location data of experimental subjects in real time (every 6.25 ms) at an achievable accuracy of 12 inches or better. The system or components must provide a discreet, wireless ability to gather location data of experimental subjects in real time. Destination information: Shipping will be FOB Destination to Picatinny Arsenal, NJ 07806-5000. Delivery schedule: Delivery will be complete less than one month (31 days) from Date of Order. Duration of the contract period is one month (31 days) from Date of Order. Sole Source Award to Ubisense, Denver, CO is anticipated because Ubisense is the only vendor providing these sensors and their unique and innovative method of real-time location, however, all responsible sources may submit a bid, proposal, or quotation which shall be considered by the agency. Award is anticipated on or before 26 Sep 2008. Solicitation will not be made available through the GPE. Solicitation may be requested from the Point of Contact listed in this announcement.
