- This Notice is SUBJECT TO THE AVAILABILITY OF FY 2009 FUNDS pursuant to FAR Clause 52.232-18. This notice does not obligate funds. This serves as a “Notice of Intent” to purchase JBOSS maintenance for existing software licenses. In Response to the previous quotation that was posted on 9/17/08, DLT Solutions was the only vendor to submit a quotation. The Government intends to purchase the following maintenance subscriptions for licenses as a true-up to exisiting software requirements FAR Subpart 12.6 through a modification to the award in which DLT Solutions had previously responded: The purpose of this notice is to identify the net changes that occurred between the original Red Hat RHEL and JBoss quote of $173,820.62 and the updated version of the quote with a cost of $238,787.43 (attached) -- the total net change was an increase of $64,966.81, which is identified below: -JBoss Application Platform Premium for up to 32 CPUs: quantity was increased from 1 to 2... per unit cost remained the same, this resulted in a net increase of $47,153.25. -JBoss Application Platform Standard for up to 32 CPUs: this is a net new product on the new quote, resulting in a net increase of $31,435.71. JBOSS Rules Framework Standard for up to 4 CPUs; this mirrors line 8 from original quote, however, the product was changed from a quantity of 1 for 32 CPUs to a quantity of 2 for 4 CPUs, resulting in a net decrease of $22,005.01. -JBoss jBPM Framework Standard for up to 4 CPUs: this mirrors line 9 from original quote, however the product was changed from a quantity of 1 for 32 CPUs to a quantity of 2 for 4 CPUs, resulting in a net decrease of $11,002.50. JBoss ON Monitoring (4 CPUs) $2,619.65 and JBoss ON Monitoring for up to 32 CPUs $16,765.71: both are new items, resulting in a net increase of $19,385.36. The changes identified above reconcile the total increase of $64,966.81 between the original and updated version of the quote. DLT Solutions was the only vendor that responded to the combined synopsis/solitation. As a result, the true-up award will be made as an amendment to this solictation that was previously completed. The total award of software maintenance will be $238,787 as a combined GSA Schedule/Open Market award.
