- This is a sources sought notice published for market research purposes only. Anticipated NAICS code is 481211. If you believe another code is more applicable based on the PWS, please indicate and state justification with your reply. The Forest Service anticipates the award of one contract to supply boat and helicopter support for Forest Service field crews for housing and transport to remote field plots along the Southeast and Southcentral coasts of Alaska. Boat operations shall support up to 14 Forest Service employees (and all field gear) to include providing food, lodging and office space. The boat shall also have a helideck capable of helicopter landings and transport. Helicopter operations will transport field crews from the boat to remote sites daily. All interested vendors should notify this office, in writing, of their interest in this notice. Response due date is 20 Oct 2008 by 2 pm Alaska time. Responses shall include: 1. Identification of company, size status, DUNS number, and certifications (i.e. HUBZone, 8(a), SDVOB, small business, etc.). 2. Describe company’s experience and capability of meeting requirements in the summary statement above. 3. NAICS information, if applicable. The Forest Service is interested in obtaining responses to this Source Sought notice from prospective contractors but no contractor shall be reimbursed for providing this information. Information provided in response to this request must be provided in writing and include a point of contact name, phone and fax numbers and email address. Responses may be submitted via fax to 907-743-9492; emailed to denisemurphy@fs.fed.us; or mailed to US Forest Service, Chugach NF, 3301 C St., Ste. 300, Anchorage AK 99503.
