- W911S8-09-B-0003, Portland, Oregon Area The Department of the Army, Mission and Installation Contracting Command (MICC), Enterprise and Installation Operations (EIO), Directorate of Contracting (DOC), Fort Lewis, Washington is currently requesting information to determine the existence of viable commercial sources capable of providing complete services for Outbound and Inbound (Schedules I and II) Packing and Containerization and Local Drayage of Direct Procurement Method (DPM) Personal Property Shipments for Department of Defense (DoD) personnel located in Portland, Oregon and surrounding areas. The anticipated period of performance is 1 May 2009 through 30 April 2010 plus four (4) one-year Option Periods. This Sources Sought shall not be construed as a Request for Proposals (RFP), Invitation for Bid (IFB) or as an obligation on the part of the Government to acquire any products or services. Responses to this Sources Sought shall not serve as proposals, bids, or offers, which could be accepted by the Government to form a binding contract. MICC, EIO, DOC will not accept unsolicited proposals related to the subject of this Sources Sought. All information received in response to this Sources Sought that is marked - Proprietary - will be handled accordingly. The responder must clearly identify any information it considers sensitive or proprietary. Responses to this Sources Sought will not be returned. Responders are solely responsible for all expenses associated with and incurred by responding to this Sources Sought. The Government reserves the right to determine how it should proceed as a result of this notice. A Market Research Questionnaire is below.
