Description
Deep Well Drilling Project in Central Nevada S. M. Stoller Corporation, Legacy Management Support Contractor to the U. S. Department of Energy Office of Legacy Management, will issue an addendum to update the project schedule date for a Deep Well Drilling Project at the Central Nevada Test Area located approximately 90 miles Northeast of Tonopah, Nevada. The drilling services include the drilling of two boreholes, geophysical logging, construction of two monitor wells with piezometers, development of monitor wells/piezometers, re-completion of an existing well, lowering of pumps in the three existing monitoring/validation (MV) wells, and installation of submersible pumps in the new monitor wells and re-completed well HTH-1. The boreholes for the two new alluvial wells shall be drilled using a 31-inch bit from ground surface to 100 feet below ground surface (bgs) and a 12 ¼-inch bit from approximately 100 feet bgs to the total depth of approximately 2400 feet bgs. A detailed summary of the work scope and changes to the work scope will be provided in Addendum #4 for this project. The Request for Proposal requires the submission of a technical and a price proposal. The solicitation package is posted to the Stoller web site at http://www.stoller.com/stoller2/sol_ntsdrilling.php. Send an email to contracts@lm.doe.gov to request notification when the addendum is posted. Total estimated cost is between $1,000,000 and $5,000,000. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 237110 and the size standard is $31 million in gross annual receipts. All responsible sources may submit a proposal which will be considered by Stoller. Interested contractors will have experience of the same magnitude in deep well drilling and well development projects. Pursuant to the Miller Act, Performance and Payment Bonds will be required following award.
