- THIS IS A COMBINED SYNOPSIS/SOLICITATION FOR COMMERCIAL ITEMS PREPARED IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE FORMAT IN FAR SUBPART 12.6, AS SUPPLEMENTED WITH ADDITIONAL INFORMATION INCLUDED IN THIS NOTICE. THIS ANNOUNCEMENT CONSTITUTES THE ONLY SOLICITATION; QUOTES ARE BEING REQUESTED AND A WRITTEN SOLICITATION WILL NOT BE ISSUED. The Request for Quotation (RFQ) number is EA133W-09-RQ-0017. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-27. This procurement is being solicited as unrestricted. The PSC for this is 6830 and the North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 325120, the small business size standard is 1,000. The National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA), National Weather Service Forecast Office in Caribou, Maine requires the following items: CLIN 0001 Provide helium technical, in accordance with Federal Specifications BB-H-1168B, Grade B, 97.5% Helium in contractor owned cylinders. Cylinder size is to range from 200 to 230 cubic foot. Quantity: Not-To-Exceed 73,000 Cubic Foot Delivery of helium is to begin the first week of December 2008 and continue to be delivered on a weekly basis until final quantity is delivered. CLIN 0002 Cylinder Rental: Quantity: Not-To-Exceed 156 Estimated cylinders: 13 per month CLIN 0003 OPTIONAL LINE ITEM Provide helium technical, in accordance with Federal Specifications BB-H-1168B, Grade B, 97.5% Helium in contractor owned cylinders. Cylinder size is to range from 200 to 230 cubic foot. Quantity: Not-To-Exceed 97,000 Cubic Foot CLIN 0004 Cylinder Rental: Quantity: Not-To-Exceed 208 Estimated cylinders: 13 per month; FOB is Destination. The delivery address is as follows: U. S.
