- The US Coast Guard Maintenance and Logistics Command Atlantic (MLCLANT), Norfolk, VA is procuring the rental of mobile kitchen and dining room for US Coast Guard SFO Galveston, Galveston TX. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation number is HSCG84-09-Q-AA8295 and will be issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ). The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-27. This is a 100% Small Business Set-Aside Open Competition, with a NAICS code 532490, and Small Business Size Standard is $7M. The Contract Line Item Number and description are as follows: CLIN 0001 – Rental of Mobile Kitchen & Dining Room, Qty – 3; Unit – Month. Description is as follows: 8'x45' mobile kitchen or larger with propane equipment; flat griddle; deep fat fryer; 6 burner stove-top; double convection oven; 20 gallon kettle; work tables for food preparation; 2-compartment sink for produce washing; hand sink for hand-washing; 8'x10' walk in reefer; two stand-up freezers; punch dispenser; steam table for serving hot items; and a 7'x10' enclosed dry-store room. Dining facility should include restroom and seating for 40-50 people. A dishwashing room with a heavy duty commercial 1-compartment dishwasher is required. CLIN 1001, Option period One, 1 Month rental; CLIN 2001, Option Period Two, 1 Month rental; and CLIN 3001, Option Period Three, 1 Month rental. Desired delivery is within 3 weeks, or sooner. FOB is Destination. This solicitation will be issued in accordance with FAR Part 12, Acquisition of Commercial Items and FAR Subpart 13.5 -- Test Program for Certain Commercial Items. The provision at 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors – Commercial, applies to this acquisition and is tailored as follows: (b)(4) Offerors should submit a technical description of the items being offered in sufficient detail to evaluate compliance with the requirement This may include product literature or other documents, if necessary; (b)(10) Offerors should submit past performance information on up to 3 contracts that are currently in process or have been completed during the past three years (including Federal, State, and local government) which are similar to the work required by this solicitation. Information should include contract numbers, points of contact with telephone numbers and other relevant information. Offerors are advised to include a completed copy of the provision at 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications-Commercial Items, with their quote. The clause at 52.212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions – Commercial Items, applies to this acquisition. The contractor shall submit invoice via e-mail to Mr. Timothy Shuhart at Timothy.M.Shuhart@uscg.mil. The clause at 52.212-5, Contract Terms and Conditions Required To Implement Statues Or Executive Orders – Commercial Items, applies to this acquisition, as well as, the following additional FAR clauses at 52.203-6, 52.217-9 (a) within 5 day; (c) 6 months, 52.222-3, 52.222-19, 52.222-21, 52.222-26, 52.222-35, 52.222.36, 52.222-41, 52.222-42, 52.222-43, 52.225-13, and 52.232-33.
