Description
Canyonlands National Park requires the furnishing and installation of 69 hard wired smoke alarms in 19 housing units at the Needles District of Canyonlands. Within each housing unit all smoke detectors shall be interconnected with hard wire. Work will also include the removal of old fire alarm panels, and installation of Contractor furnished 24 VDC transformers to power the existing sprinkler flow switch and the outside fire alarm. Work will also include removal of old non-functioning smoke alarms and horn strobes, and include repairing of all sheetrock and painting damaged during this work. A site visit is scheduled for Monday November 17th at 11am, meet at the Needles Visitor Center. This solicitation will be available at http://ideasec.nbc.gov on or about November 10, 2008. PAPER COPIES OF THIS SOLICITATION WILL NOT BE ISSUED AND TELEPHONE REQUESTS OR FAX REQUESTS FOR THIS SOLICITATION WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED. Solicitation Number N1343080070. Work will be in accordance with the scope of work, drawings and other attachments. This acquisition is a total Small Business Set-Aside. NAICS code 238210, with the small business size standard of $13 M. This is a Best Value procurement and will use a comparative evaluation of proposals based on price, past performance and technical qualifications. In order to download the solicitation, interested vendors must register at http://ideasec.nbc.gov It is mandatory that all contractors register in the Central Contractor Registration database (www.ccr.gov) prior to award. The anticipated award date is on or about December 10, 2008. Responses from offerors will be accepted at the address listed in the solicitation in hard copy until the due date and time specified in the Solicitation, with the manual signature of the authorized company official.
