- Description
- This special notice is a request for information (RFI). The sole purpose of this RFI is to solicit feedback from potential offerors, industry representatives, Government agencies, and other interested parties on a draft solicitation. Department of Defense, TRICARE Management Activity (TMA) is developing a requirement for TRICARE Fraud and Abuse Pharmacy Support Services. As part of its market research in accordance with the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 10, TMA requests and encourages feedback on all areas of the requirement and draft solicitation, particularly input from small businesses and non-incumbents. Comments are solicited as to whether the language included in the draft RFP is sufficiently descriptive/detailed and broad enough in scope, includes applicable and necessary standard industry/commercial practices, and establishes reasonable objectives and obtainable standards that can be measured. The draft solicitation is available electronically on the TMA website under Industry Forums. To obtain a copy of the draft solicitation, go to http://www.tricare.mil/contracting/healthcare/industryforum/ and click on Reference Number RFI-TFA. Paper copies of the draft solicitation will not be provided. Comments from interested parties will be accepted for approximately 18 calendar days after the posting date. To submit your input, please utilize the E-Mail Questions to the Contracting Officer link on the Industry Forum web page, then click on Comments on Draft RFP. No phone calls will be accepted. Due to time constraints, and to encourage a free flow of ideas from industry, TMA does not plan to respond directly or to post comments on the web site. However, each comment will be considered carefully in developing the formal solicitation. It is anticipated that the final solicitation will be issued in the December 2008/January 2009 timeframe.
