Description: The Naval Air Systems Command intends to enter into sole source negotiations using Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 12 provisions with Rolls Royce Corporation. The contract will consist of a base and four (4) option years for Contractor Logistics Support (CLS) and Technical Engineering Support Services (TESS) for the USMC KC-130J aircraft propulsion system, which includes the AE2100D3 turboprop engine and R391 propeller. The proposed supplies and/or services to be procured under this contract are commercial depot level support of these engines (Power by the Hour); technical publications; program management; engine and propeller management; configuration management; field service support; technical data management; engine/Weapons Replaceable Assembly (WRA)/component repair; supply support, WRA and component packaging. The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 336412 and the small business size standard is 1,000 employees. There is no commitment by the Government to issue a solicitation, make an award or awards, or to be responsible for any monies expended by any interested parties in support of the effort mentioned above. Information provided above is subject to change and in no way binds the Government to solicit for or award a contract. Unless otherwise stated herein, no additional written information is available.
