Description

The Department of Defense Dependents Schools - Europe (DoDDS-E) hereby issues a DRAFT Request for Proposals for on-site, day-to-day information technology support to all the DoDDS-E locations in Europe as well as enterprise support services to the DoDDS-E Administrative offices in Mainz-Kastel, Germany. The intention is to issue a single award, requirements type contract with a base year and four option periods. DoDDS-E welcomes comments on the Statement of Work and requests that vendors offer solutions as to how we can accommodate a contract type that will be flexible enough to adjust to school closings and ensuing changes in requirements. Please review the pricing schedule carefully; this is subject to revision based on industry feedback. The Government intends to award a single contract. All work will be issued under Task Orders. The contract will contain a one-year base period and four one-year options. This DRAFT RFP closes on Thursday, 4 December 2008 at 12:00 Central European Daylight Time. A final RFP will be issued after the pre-proposal conference. A pre-proposal conference will be conducted 20 November 2008, 9 am - 12 noon, at DoDDS-Europe Offices in Mainz-Kastel, Germany.
