- NASA/SSC is hereby soliciting information about potential sources to performInformation and Technical Services at the John C. Stennis Space Center, MS.The new contract(s) is/are expected to be a follow-on to the existing contractrequirements contained in the Information Technology Services Task Order (NNS04AB54T),which was issued against the GSA Millennia Governmentwide Acquisition Contract (GWAC). Specific requirements are projected in the following areas: Management andAdministration; Technology Operations; Information Technology Operations and SupportServices; Earth Science Applications Services; IT, Science, Engineering, TechnologyTraining, and Education. Section C of the current task order, with some additionalrequirements, is attached for a more detailed review of the work. No solicitation exists; therefore, do not request a copy of the solicitation. If asolicitation is released it will be synopsized in FedBizOpps and on the NASA AcquisitionInternet Service (NAIS). It is the potential offerors responsibility to monitor thesesites for the release of any additional information pertaining to this synopsis or anyresulting solicitation.Responses must include the following: name and address of firm, size of business; averageannual revenue for past 3 years and number of employees; ownership; whether they arelarge, small, small disadvantaged, 8(a), HUBZone, small disabled veteran owned, and/orwoman-owned; number of years in business; affiliate information: parent company, jointventure partners, potential teaming partners, prime contractor (if potential sub) orsubcontractors (if potential prime); list of customers covering the past five years(highlight relevant work performed, contract numbers, contract type, dollar value of eachprocurement; and point of contact - address and phone number).Potential offerors are asked to complete and submit the statement of interest spreadsheetattached to this announcement, electronically, by e-mailing the completed spreadsheet toJoseph.D.Ladner@nasa.gov by 3:00pm Central Time, on November 14, 2008.Comments orsuggestions relevant to this proposed acquisition are welcome and may also be included onthe spreadsheet. NOTE: Indicate if your interest is directed at the potential primecontract or subcontract level.DO NOT SUBMIT ANY PROPRIETARY INFORMATION.The Government reserves the right to consider a small business set-aside based onresponses hereto. The period of performance is TBD.This synopsis is for information and planning purposes and is not to be construed as acommitment by the Government nor will the Government pay for information solicited.
