- Quotations will be accepted for Water & Wastewater Lab Testing & Reporting services for Crater Lake National Park, Oregon, for the base period of December 1, 2008 (or award of contract) to September 30, 2009. The proposed award will be for a period of one year with options to renew an additional four years. Testing and analysis is required for drinking water, monitoring wells, waste water, lagoon effluent-cell#1 and lagoon effluent-cell#2. The contractor shall perform or sub contract through a state approved testing lab the following types of tests for Water and Waste Water systems. The quantity and variety of samples to be analyzed will vary monthly and by cyclic requirements by the regulatory agencies. The Contractor shall be certified by the State of Oregon in water and wastewater testing and shall have in place or obtain all necessary licenses and/or permits required to perform this work. A copy of the Oregon State Certification shall be furnished as part of this Request for Quote. Any subcontracted services shall have in place or obtain all necessary licenses and/or permits required to perform water and wastewater testing. The successful bidder shall also provide a copy of the Oregon State Certifications of subcontractors as part of this Request for Quote. Drive time from Crater Lake to the contractor should not exceed 1.5 hours under normal driving conditions. Award selection will be based on 'best value' to the Government. The Request for Quotations (RFQ) is expected to be issued between November 10, 2008 and November 21, 2008 with quotes due 15 days after issuance. The RFQ will be available via electronic commerce only and may be accessed at http://www.fedbizopps.gov or directly through the DOI National Business Center site at http://ideasec.nbc.gov. Contractors are responsible for periodically checking the website for any Amendments that may be issued prior to the closing date of the RFQ. This acquisition is 100% set-aside for Small Business Concerns.
