Description
The United States Marine Corps Systems Command (MARCORSYSCOM), Infantry Weapons Systems, Quantico, Virginia intends to solicit on a Sole Source basis under the statutory authority permitting Other Than Full and Open Competition 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1) to Complete Parachute Solutions (CPS) for the following services: training pursuant to the Multi-Mission Parachutist Course (MMPC) designed to train non-Military Free Fall (MFF) qualified Marines in Military Free Fall techniques utilizing the USMC Multi-Mission Parachute System (MMPS) and the Multi-Mission Transition Course (MMTC) which is designed to transition MFF qualified Marines from the MC-5 parachute system to the MMPS. Award of a FFP contract for a base period and 4 option periods is anticipated. Four training courses (MMPC-3 and MMTC-1) are anticipated in the base period and ten MMPC training courses are anticipated in each option period. The contractor shall provide all fixed wing aircraft, Federal Aviation Adm! inistration MFF "D" license qualified instructors, multi-mission parachutes, fully loaded parachutist drop bags, M-16 rubber rifles, altimeters, helmets, goggles, jump suits, free-fall trained videographers and commercial wind tunnel training. CPS is the only Multi-Mission Parachute System (MMPS) Military Free-fall (MFF) Parachute Course trainer that has been certified by the U.S. Army Special Operations Command (USASOC). CPS is the sole manufacturer of the MMPS which has been approved and certified by Training and Education Command for use in the MMPC at the CPS training facility. The North American Industry Classification (NAICS) Code is 611699. Numbered note 22 is applicable to this notice.
