Description

USDA-Natural Resources Conservation Service is announcing a project under the Emergency Watershed Protection Program for Ellis County, Texas. This is a second project for Ellis County. The work includes the furnishing of all labor, materials, equipment and incidentals required for site preparation; fabrication and installation of timber headwalls; installation of sand-cement walls; placing of rock riprap armor along stream banks; installing rock chutes in road ditches; and/or installing wire mesh gabions along stream banks. There are 6 sites requiring work located in Precincts 1, 2, and 3, Ellis County. It is expected the Solicitation will be posted o/a Novemeber 24, 2008. Price range is $250,000 to $500,000
