Description
The Space and Naval Warfare Systems Command (SPAWAR), ProgramExecutive Office (PEO) Command, Control, Communications, Computers andIntelligence (C4I) Navy Communications Program Office, Code PMW-170intends to procure a core requirement of seventy five (75) 100 and ten (10)200 watt (W) power amplifiers (PAs) for the Digital Modular Radio (DMR)program on a full & open competition basis among qualified DMR PA vendors.The contemplated contract type is Firm Fixed Price, five year Multiple AwardIndefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quanity (IDIQ) contract. SPAWAR anticipatesawarding up to three (3) multiple award IDIQ to qualified DMR PA vendorsbetween the two (2) types of DMR PA. DMR is a software definable radio with embedded INFOSEC, capable oftransmitting and receiving on four RF channels simultaneously and isinteroperable over the-air with existing HF/VHF/UHF Line of Sight & UHFSATCOM circuits such as DAMA, SINCGARS, AN/WSC-3, VHF Civilian Air Distress,and other circuits utilizing legacy radios. Each RF channel of the radio willbecapable of operating anywhere in the 2MHz to 2GHz frequency band. The DMRPAs operate in the 30MHz to 400 MHz range.
