- This is a SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE to identify U. S. Small Business Administration firms capable of providing all labor, material, equipment, transportation and supervision necessary to Replace Storm Drainage @ USCG Station Marblehead Housing – Port Clinton, Ohio. Work includes 1.1 Construct (4) new 20’ long, 4” diameter PVC perforated under drains with stone bedding, beneath downspouts at (8) U.S. Coast Guard houses. (32 total) 1.2 Replace 5” aluminum rain gutter system on (8) houses. Provide solid metal cover over gutters on (3) of the houses. 1.3 Replace downspouts at (4) corners of (8) houses. Remove existing 4” clay pipe underground drain, to a depth of 18” below grass lawn. 1.4 Replace backyard fence for (8) Coast Guard houses. New fence shall be 4’ high vinyl coated steel chain link, with galvanized steel line post and top rail. Provide (11) new steel gates. Provide plastic privacy slats for street side fences. 1.5 Construct new 4’ high solid wood fence along side yard of (2) houses. 1.6 Tuck point 50 LF of cracked brick on (2) houses. (1012 & 1108 Grant). 1.7 Clear and grub overgrown bushes, trees, stumps, vines, miscellaneous obstructions from fence rows as required to build new fences. Clear overgrown grass from (2) storm sewer catch basins. Work must be staged from USCG side of property line. 1.8 Perform property line survey to insure that new fences are constructed on Coast Guard property. 1.9 Grade drainage swale across (3) back yards to catch basin. 1.10 Replace and re-level (3) exterior doors, and metal storm door. Incidental work items not listed above and necessary for completing the project shall be included. The NAICS for this project is 238990 with a Small Business Size Standard of $13.0M. Vendors interested in performing this project are invited to provide the following information to U. S. Coast Guard CEU Cleveland (Attn: Ms. Melton) no later than COB 11/20/08.
