Description

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. (ii) This solicitation, FA2517-09-T-5006, is being issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ). (iii) A statement that the solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2005-24. (iv) This procurement is a small business set aside. The NAICS code is 454312 Liquefied Petroleum Gas (Bottled Gas) Dealers and the size standard is 50 employees. (v) Contractor shall utilize the below line item structure when preparing quotes: Line Item 0001 Description: Delivery of Bulk Propane to the Fire Department Non-personal services for Delivery of Bulk Propane to Fire Dept Training Area In Accordance With (IAW) the attached Performance Work Statement (PWS). Prospective contractor quotes should be based on a fixed price per gallon of propane and cannot be based on current market price, as this Purchase Order is a Firm Fixed Price (FFP) order. Review the PWS for quantity and frequency for this requirement. (vi) The following commercial item is requested in this solicitation: Non-personal services for Delivery of Bulk Propane to Fire Dept Training Area at Peterson AFB, CO IAW the attached PWS from 1 Dec 08-30 Nov 09. (vii) Advanced payments are not authorized. To be performed on Peterson AFB, CO from 1 Dec 08 - 30 Nov 09. (viii) The following provisions and clauses apply to this acquisition: The provision at FAR 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors/Commercial Items. All firms must be registered in Wide Area Workflow (WAWF) at https://wawf.eb.mil at time of quote submittal. DUNS, Cage Code, tax ID, terms and conditions shall be submitted with quote. All firms must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration Database at www.ccr.gov in order to be considered for award. (ix) FAR 52.212-2(a) Evaluation - Commercial Items, applies to this acquisition. Quote will be evaluated based on price. (x) The provision at FAR 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certification-Commercial Items, is applicable to this acquisition. All vendors must be registered in Online Representations and certifications (ORCA) (https://orca.bpn.gov)) at the time of Quote submittal.
