- Description
- The Department of Health and Human Services (DHHS), National Institutes of Health (NIH), Office of the Director (OD), the Division of Simplified Aquisition Policy and Services (DSAPS), contemplates issueing on a competitive bases, Blanket Purchase Agreements (BPA's) for the purpose of supporting the NIH Scientific Review Evaluation Award (SREA) Program. The services required include commercially available overnight sleeping accommodations, hotel and meeting event support services, and intergrated conference hosting capability to the DHHS. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in the notice. This annoucement constitutes the only soliciatation; submissions are being requested and an additional written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation number is P(RB)-0002-6 for this requirement. The applicable NAICS code is 721110. It is the Government's intent to issue Blanket Purchase Agreement's, (BPA's) to the vendor(s) whose submission provides the best value to the Government. The BPA's will be valid for a period of (1) or (2) years and may be renewed for (1) or (2) additional years. The issuance of a BPA does not guarantee the vendor a minimum number of orders. For potential orders placed against the Blanket Purchase Agreement (BPA), there may be multiple users. The BPA's will be issued on meeting the accompanying certifications, provisions and speciafications. The submission shall be received by 2pm EST July 31, 2009. Evaluations and selection for BPA issuance will be based upon the following: *Meeting the specifications of the Statement of Work and the BPA Terms and Conditions Past Performance and Price. This acquisition is being conducted under FAR Part 13, simplified aquisition procedures. The selected vendors will be issued Blanket Purchase Agreements valid for (1) or (2) years. Offerors shall be located within a one hundred (100) mile radius of either the main (NIH) facility or the main National Institutes of Environmental HealthServices (NIEHS) facility. These are located as follows: *(NIH) 9000 Rockville Pike, Bethesda, MD. USA 20892 *(NIEHS) 111 T.W. Alexander Drive, Research Triangle Park, NC USA 27709 OR the offeror shall be within the following counties: *Cook County, IL. *Los Angeles County, CA. *San Francisco County, CA. *Santa Barbara County, CA. * Santa Clara County, CA. *King County, WA. *Snohomish County, WA. *Orange County, CA. *San Diego County, CA. * Alameda County, CA.
