Sources Sought: THIS SOURCES SOUGHT IS AN ADVANCE NOTICE FOR INFORMATION, MARKET RESEARCH AND PLANNING PURPOSES ONLY. IT IS NOT A SOLICITATION. NO SOLICITATION IS AVAILABLE AT THIS TIME. THIS EFFORT IS CONSIDERED COMMERCIAL IN NATURE AND ANY RESULTANT CONTRACT WILL BE AWARDED IAW FAR PART 12. This effort is to seek qualified sources capable of providing the necessary services for inspect, maintain, service and repair, and any other necessary work required to the elevators listed below at Patrick AFB, Florida in a manner that will ensure continuous and safe operation. The applicable NAICS code and size standard is 811310/$6.5M. Firms interested should respond in writing to include Company name, CAGE Code, Business size and classification (e.g. Small Disadvantaged Business, 8(a) Small Business, etc.), a point of contact (to include phone number and e-mail address), and responses to questionnaire. This sources sought neither constitutes a Request for Proposal, nor does it restrict the Government to a particular acquisition approach. This sources sought is to be used as a market research tool to determine the availability and adequacy of potential sources before issuing a Request for Proposal (RFP). Any information submitted by respondents to this sources sought is strictly voluntary. The Government shall not be liable for, or suffer any consequential damages for any proprietary information not properly identified. Proprietary information will be safeguarded in accordance with the applicable Government regulations. All documentation shall become the property of the Government. The Government will not pay for any information that is submitted by respondents to this sources sought request. This sources sought should not be construed as commitment by the Government for any purpose other than market research. Complete responses must be received NLT 17 Dec 08.
