Description: Dimensions: approximately 21" L x 9" W x 12" HMaterial:Aluminum/SteelFit/Form/Function: The augmentor fuel control meters augmentedfuel flow and controls distribution functions as scheduled by the digitalelectronic engine control. During augmentation, the control will supply theengine's augmentor sprayrings with fuel flow from individual pressureregulating and shutoff valves which are activated or deactivatedsequentially by a segment sequencing valve. 11. Mandatory Language: This solicitation will be a sole source requirement to HoneywellInternational. The proposed contract action is for supplies and services for which theGovernment intends to solicit and negotiate with only one, or a limitednumber of sources under the authority of FAR 6.302. Interested persons mayidentify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement orsubmit proposals. This notice of intent is not a request for competitiveproposals. However, all proposals received within forty five-days (thirtydays if award is issued under an existing basic ordering agreement) afterdate of publication of this synopsis will be considered by the Government.A Determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contractbased upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of theGovernment. Information received will normally be considered solely for thepurpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. Award will be made only if the offeror, the product/service, or themanufacturer meets qualification requirements at the time of award inaccordance with FAR clause 52.209-1. The solicitation identifies the officewhere additional information can be obtained concerning qualificationrequirements as cited in each individual solicitation. While price will be a significant factor in the evaluation of offers, thefinal contract award decision may be based upon a combination of price andpast performance factors as detailed in the solicitation. An Ombudsman has been appointed to hear concerns from offerors or potentialOfferors during the proposal development phase of this acquisition. Thepurpose of the Ombudsman is not to diminish the authority of the programdirector or contracting officer, but to communicate contractor concerns,issues, disagreements, and recommendations to the appropriate governmentpersonnel. When requested, the Ombudsman will maintain strictconfidentiality as to source of the concern. The Ombudsman does notparticipate in the evaluation of proposals or in the source selectionprocess.
