- Request for proposal (RFP) for the operation of the Shreveport Job Corps Center, located in Shreveport, Louisiana will be available approximately December 3, 2008 on the Federal Business Opportunity (FBO) website: http//www.fbo.gov. It is anticipated that the resultant contract will be a cost plus incentive fee for a 2-year base period of September 1, 2009 through August 31, 2011 plus three governmental unilateral renewal options of one year each. The approximate average capacity strength is 250 residential and 100 non-residential students. In addition, this contract will provide Outreach and Admissions services in the state of Louisiana for a minimum of 581 students annually and Career Transition Services annually for 351 graduates and 112 former enrollees. A pre-proposal conference will be convened at 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday, December 10, 2008 at the Shreveport Job Corps Center, 2815 Lillian Street, Shreveport, Louisiana, 71109. There will be a tour of the facility following the conference. Upon entering the facility, participants must check with Security and will be directed to the conference site. We recommend that you download the RFP prior to attending the pre-proposal conference. Proposals in response to the RFP will consist of written submissions and possible Oral Presentation as described in Section L of the RFP. Written portions of the proposal are due by 12:00 p.m. local time Tuesday, January 20, 2009 to the Dallas Regional Office of the Assistant Secretary for Administration and Management. All responsible sources may submit a proposal which shall be considered by the agency.
