- Description
- The 96th Contracting Squadron, Eglin AFB, FL, is soliciting to identify Small Business sources that are capable of furnishing: 1. Contractor shall furnish all labor, tools, and transportation necessary to perform preventative maintenance and interim service, including, but not limited to, repair, modification, installation, transfer, and removal of equipment for the internal communications systems at the Eglin Hospital, Eglin AFB, FL 32542 and cable pulling service. These systems include Nurse Call and Patient Entertainment Systems, Public Address Systems, Video Patient Monitoring Systems, Remote Alarms/Emergency Call Systems and Telephone Paging Systems. 2. Personnel Qualifications: All service personnel shall be able to provide services at a level comparable in scope and responsibility to an employee with a minimum of three (3) years experience. Contractor shall be an authorized service provider. It shall be the contractor's responsibility to ensure employees occupying the described positions have the appropriate experience to perform the tasks listed in the statement of work. 3. Preventative Maintenance Inspection (PMI): Quarterly PMI shall be performed during the first month of each quarter beginning with the first month of contract performance. These inspections shall include, but not be limited to: testing, adjustments, alignments, replacement of malfunctioning parts, cleaning, oiling, and necessary repairs to maintain the above systems in good working order. Replacement of parts shall be in accordance with paragraph 5 of the SOW. Contractor shall report to Facilities Management Office (FMO) prior to start of inspection and shall sign in and out of the building through the FMO during duty hours and through the Plant Manager, Civil Engineering Office during non-duty hours. 4. Interim Service: Interim service shall consist of routine and emergency calls for repair, modification, installation, transfer, and removal of equipment; and cable pulling. Response time is determined to begin at the placement of call by designated individuals of the Eglin AFB Hospital. Routine Interim Service: Response time is two (2) working hours after placement of call, and shall be provided during the hours of 7:15 A.M. - 4:00 P.M., Monday through Friday, except Federal holidays. The North American Industry Classification System, NAICS code for this acquisition is 811213 and $6.5M. This is a sources sought for Small Businesses only. The Government reserves the right to make a SB set aside depending on responses to this synopsis. Please indicate if you are a Small Business and size.
