- Provide Medical Transcription Services for the VA Medical Centers in VISN 9 (comprised of VA Medical Centers at Lexington, KY; Louisville, KY; Huntington, WV; Memphis, TN; Murfreesboro, TN; Mountain Home, TN; and Nashville, TN). This contract will be a performance based service contract and is anticipated to result in multiple awards (one for each medical center). The services to be provided are for digital dictation, traditional, and correction editing medical transcription services using vendor-supplied dictation equipment. This acquisition is to have an 8-month base period (estimated award of 2/01/09 though 9/30/09) with four 12-month Option periods. Contractor shall perform all transcription and verification work within the United States of America. There are no exceptions, and subcontracted work at any tier shall be performed within the United States of America or its territories. The NAICS code is 561410 and the size standard applicable is $7.0 million. The RFP will be uploaded to FedBizOpps by December 16, 2008.
