- This acquisition will be released as an UNRESTRICTED invitation for bids (IFB) under NAICS Code 238210, solicitation number will be W9127S09B0001. The size standard for this NAICS code is $14 Million. The resulting contract will be am fixed priced construction contract subject to the Davis Bacon Act. Bid, performance, and payment bonds will be required as indicated in the IFB. The project consists of upgrading electrical service and providing new underground power conductors to 82 existing campsites. Other work includes replacing 82 electrical pedestals with new 50amp pedestals and providing new service racks with meter panels. Project work is to be completed at recreational facilities located in Hickory Creek and Horseshoe Bend Parks. The parks are located on or near Beaver Lake in the area supported by the Beaver Project Office, Rogers, AR. The work encompasses the replacing existing electrical pedestals with new 50amp pedestals and providing service racks with meter panels. The Government will conduct a Pre-Bid Conference and Site Visit, date to be announced, details regarding the Conference will be provided in the solicitation, Section 00100. There will be a public bid opening as scheduled by the IFB. Plans and specifications will not be provided in a hard paper copy. This invitation to bid will be issued via Internet only on or about 17 December 2008. Notification of amendments shall be made via the Internet as well. It is therefore the bidders responsibility to check the following internet address daily for any posted changes to the solicitation. Contractors registered with the Federal Business Opportunities (FedBizOpps) http://www.fedbizopps.gov/ may view and/or download this solicitation and all amendments from the internet after solicitation issuance.
