- Description
- The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA), Aviation System Standards Aircraft Maintenance and Engineering Group, has a requirement for Landing Gear and Actuator Inspection and restoration applicable to the Bombardier Challenger 601. The inspection is required IAW the 120 month maintenance requirement, and qualified sources must hold a valid FAA Repair Station Certificate issued under Part 145 of the Federal aviation Regulations with appropriate ratings for the work to be performed. In accordance with AMS policy 3.2.2.5.2, the FAA intends to acquire the maintenance through commercial acquisition procedures to qualified repair sources.
