- 29 - SPARES OC-ALC/DSCR/ZBAC DIR CONTRACTING/PROPULSION 3001 STAFF DR STE 2AC1/109B TINKER AIR FORCE BASE OK 73145-3032.F100 CYLINDER, ACTUATING SOL SPRTA1-09-Q-0136 Item 0001NSN:2995-01-206-7995 NZ, P/N:4061378.Item Description: Material is aluminum. For the dimensions 3 x 6 x 10 in. Purpose of item is to position thru linkages the 4th and 5th stage stators plus the compressor inlet guide vanes in response to a signal from the DEEC or Gas Generator control. FMS REQUIREMENTApplicable to: F100-220/229 EngineDelivery:On or Before 30 June 2009 Quantity: 2 ea New Material Solicited. The approximate issue date of the solicitation will be 19 December 2008.The approximate response date of the solicitation will be 5 January 2009.The anticipated award date will be 27 February 2009.No telephone requests. Hardcopies of the solicitation will not be sent from this office. The solicitation will be available for download only at www.fbo.gov.Questions concerning this synopsis or subsequent solicitation can be directed to Yalonda Parker at (405) 734-8119, fax (405) 734-8129, or email yalonda.parker@dla.mil All responsible sources solicited may submit a bid, proposal, or quotation which shall be considered. It is anticipated that this requirement is sole-source to Honeywell International Inc. since they are considered the only current approved source. Non-approved sources wishing to submit a bid may do so; however, only qualified sources will be considered for award. First Articles may be required from newly approved sources. Qualification Requirements: Sources must be qualified prior to being considered for award.Award will be made only if the offeror, the product/service, or the manufacturer meets qualification requirements at the time of award in accordance with FAR clause 52.209-1. Note:While price will be a significant factor in the evaluation of offers, the final contract award decision may be based upon a combination of price and past performance factors as detailed in the solicitation. Note:An Ombudsman has been appointed to hear concerns from offerors or potential Offerors during the proposal development phase of this acquisition. The purpose of the Ombudsman is not to diminish the authority of the program director or contracting officer, but to communicate contractor concerns, issues, disagreements, and recommendations to the appropriate government personnel. When requested, the Ombudsman will maintain strict confidentiality as to source of the concern. The Ombudsman does not participate in the evaluation of proposals or in the source selection process.
