- The Joint Contracting Command -Iraq, Mission Support Division intends to solicit, negotiate and award a requirement for contractor security advisors for the Ministry of Interior (MOI) and Bagdad Police College (BPC) located in Bagdad, Iraq. The NAICS code is 541690. The Small Business Size Standard is $7 million. The contractor shall provide all labor, equipment, billeting, transportation, communications, vehicles, weaponry, and management oversight for security advisors at MOI and BPC. Contractor Security Advisors are needed to assist the Iraqi Police Service (IPS) in becoming proficient in close-in security operations, thus ensuring the safety and security of both Iraqis and Coalition Forces operating within MOI and BPC. The desired end-state will be for the IPS to become completely self-sustaining, without contractor oversight, at the conclusion of the contract performance period. The anticipated contract performance period will be from 12 Jan 09 through 11 Jul 09 (includes 30 days mobilization period), with two (2) three month option periods, if exercised. This acquisition will be solicited as a full and open competition. The proposed solicitation number is W91GY0-09-R-0008. The entire solicitation will be made available on or about 11 December 2008, via the Federal Business Opportunities web page at www.fbo.gov. No paper copies will be issued.
