- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial services prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The California National Guard has a requirement to establish a Blanket Purchase Agreement (BPA) for on-call laundering services for the following items: wool blankets, pillows, sheets, pillow cases, and mattress covers for the DOL at Camp Roberts, CA. Linens must be clean, thoroughly dry, and packaged for return to the Unit. Linen must be returned within 10 days after pick-up. Vendor is responsible for all pick-up and return delivery of items. The California National Guard also has a requirement to establish a Blanket Purchase Agreement (BPA) for on-call laundering services for the following items: chemical bags, coveralls, body armor or wear, ACU parka's, hats, coats, ACU trousers, jackets, coat liners, sweaters, woodland ACU pattern modular sleep system (composed of patrol sleeping bag, intermediate sleeping bag, compression stuff sack, and woodland pattern BIVY cover), and other miscellaneous clothing items for the CIF at Camp Roberts, CA. Detailed clothing list will be provided upon request. All laundered items returned to the CIF will be placed into 4' x 4' x 4' boxes for transport to and from the laundry facility. All items must be returned to the CIF no later than 3 days after pick-up. One BPA will be issued for both facilities (DOL and CIF) for a period of 5 years. Both facilities are located at Camp Roberts, CA. Vendors are required to submit bids that include all items from both facilities. Vendors will be required to submit separate invoices for laundry services provided to the CIF and DOL at Camp Roberts. Vendors will be required to pass thru security checkpoints to enter facilities and must have the proper licensing to enter. All vendors must be registered in the Central Contractors Registration (CCR). Quotes are due no later than December 19, 2008 before 1:00pm PST. Quotes may be submitted via fax to (805) 594-6348.
