PART: U.S. GOVERNMENT PROCUREMENT SUBPART: Commodities CLASSCOD: Legal Cases and Other Luggage. OFFADD: The U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC), Office of Acquisitions, 6432 General Green Way, Alexandria VA, 22312. SUBJECT: Legal Cases and Other Luggage REF: RQ 66010-09-0032. DUE: December 30, 2008, 4:00 Pm (ET) POC: Rodger Owen Young, 202-551-6164 YoungR@sec.gov This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR subpart 12.6-Streamlined Procedures for Evaluation and Solicitation for Commercial Items-as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation that will be published for this effort. Quotations are being requested, and a written solicitation document will not be issued. This is a Request for Quotation (RFQ). The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 01-15. ***The associated North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) code for this procurement is 316991 with a small business size standard of 500 people. It is the Government intent to make this a small-business set aside. This will be a Firm Fixed price contract. The product specifications and delivery requirements are as follows: Note: It is the Governments intent to procure same or equivalent “Name Brand” items as indicated in Attachment 1 of this document. (1) Litigation Bags: Same or equivalent specifications are provided at Attachment 1 to this combined synopsis /solicitation. Attachment 2 contains; quantity, required, delivery and delivery POC. (2) Business computer cases: Same or equivalent specifications provided in Attachment 1 to this combined synopsis /solicitation. Attachment 2 contains; quantity, required, delivery and delivery POC. (3) Wheeled Computer Case: Same or equivalent specifications provided in Attachment 1 to this combined synopsis /solicitation. Attachment 2 contains; quantity, required, delivery and delivery POC... (4) Premium Expanding Wallet: Same or equivalent specifications provided in Attachment 1 to this combined synopsis /solicitation. Attachment 2 contains; quantity, required, delivery and delivery POC. Proposal Acceptability: Proposals will be accepted through December 30, 2008, 4:00 pm (ET), with no exception. Proposal Evaluation: Best value to the Government will be used to evaluate proposals; considering price and technical equivalency. Technical equivalency and price will be evaluated equally considering best value to the Government. Additional information: Items are to be delivered to 16 different individuals, throughout 11 regions of the United States where the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission has offices, reference Attachment 2 of this combined synoposis/Solication. In accordance with FAR 12-603, Streamlined Procedures for Commercial Items the following provisions shall apply to this acquisition: 52.212-1, Instructions to Offeror’s-Commercial Items. 52.212-2, Evaluation of Commercial Items. 52.212-3, Offeror’s Representations and Certifications- Commercial Items. Note: Offeror’s must present this certification with their offer. 52.212-4, Commercial Terms and Conditions–Commercial Items and 52.215-5, Commercial Terms and Conditions required implementing Statutes or Executive or Executive Orders –Commercial Items. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular, FAC 90-32, FR 48206 9/18/95, effective 10/1/95. Offeror’s interested in this requirement should submit a complete quote that provides clear and convincing evidence that their product meets or exceeds same or equivalent specifications provided in Attachment 1 of this combined synoposis/Solication. The Government may require a “sample to be viewed” in the evaluation of technical equivalency. Other technical descriptions such as; company product brochure; or company catalog pages detailing the product specifications and unit and extended price shall be presented in a company’s quote. Delivery schedule shall be provided in offeror’s quotation. The Government will consider all responses received by the publication due date of this notice.
