- UNITED STATES GOVERNMENT Seeks Leased Office Space Raleigh, NC REQUIREMENT: The U.S. Government is seeking to lease approximately 2,415 rentable square feet yielding 2,100 ANSI/BOMA office area square feet of contiguous office and related space in Raleigh, NC within the following delineated area: DELINEATED AREA: NORTH:Highway 440. EAST:Tryon Road SOUTH:Highway 440 WEST:Cary Parkway REQUIRED: The space must be contiguous and not separated by public corridors. Six (6) parking spaces for official government vehicles are required. The building site must not be located within a 100-year flood plain. Space must be located in a prime commercial office district with attractive, prestigious surroundings with a prevalence of modern design, tasteful rehabilitation in modern use or new construction. All services, supplies, utilities, and tenant alterations are to be provided as part of the rental consideration. The offered space must meet Government requirements for Fire Safety and Handicapped Accessibility. The Government does not accept sub-leases. LEASE TERM: Term is for 10 years, 5 years firm, with the Government having cancellation privileges after 5 years.
