Description

The Bureau of Engraving and Printing (BEP) has modified the referenced Bridge contract for Operation and Maintenance services in support of the BEP's Industrial Wastewater Pretreatment Plant located Washington, DC for an additional thirty (30) days (December 1, 2008 through December 31, 2008) as well as to include two thirty (30) day option periods, that may be exercised. This extension was executed in accordance with FAR Clause 52.217-8, entitled "Option to Extend Services". The determination for this extension was made in accordance with FAR Subpart 6.302-2, entitled "Unusually and Compelling Urgency" due to an unforeseen requirement to extend services until such time the BEP completes the current procurement and award a new contract for operations and maintenance services. THIS SYNOPSIS IS ISSUED FOR INFORMATION PURPOSES ONLY AND NOT INTENDED TO REQUEST OFFERS FROM OFFERORS. NO SOLICITATION WILL BE ISSUED.
