- THIS IS A SOURCES SOUGHT ANNOUNCEMENT. THERE IS NO SOLICITATION AVAILABLE AT THIS TIME. TACOM-ROCK ISLAND IS SEEKING TO IDENTIFY POTENTIAL SOURCES WHO HAVE THE CAPABILITY AND EXPERIENCE TO PROVIDE THE FOLLOWING SUPPLY ITEM: Hose, Metallic: NSN: 4720-01-289-9791; Part: 5-45-4979; The Hose, Metallic shall consist of a flexible metal hose per A-A-59452 Class 2, Type 1, Composition C, 1.50 ID. The cut ends of the Hose, Metallic shall be brazed per AWS C3.4 or AWS C3.6 Type 1 or 2, using brazing alloy per AWS 5.8 Class BAg-34, to prevent unraveling. The Hose, Metallic shall be 5.25 long. One end shall have a 0.25 hole drilled through both walls of the Hose, Metallic. The end item shall be packaged in accordance with P5-45-4979, unless otherwise instructed and approved by the Government. It is anticipated there will be a Firm Fixed Price long term Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity contract with five ordering periods.
