Description

The Drug Enforcement Administration intends to award a sole source purchase order to Corporate Executive Board located at 2000 Pennsylvania Ave., Washington, DC 20006 for the annual renewal membership for CIO Executive Board with unlimited restricted access for all DEA employees to a website for research/networking/decision support tools. The period of performance is 12-31-08 to 12-30-09. The proposed purchase order is for supplies/services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate only with Corporate Executive Board under authority 41 U.S.C.253(c)(1) as implemented by Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) 6.302-1 Justification for Other than Full and Open Competition has been justified, certified and approved for Corporate Executive Board. The NAICS code is 541618. The acquisition will be conducted through FAR Part 13 Simplified Acquisition Procedures. The Government anticipates award of a firm fixed-price purchase order. Interested parties may identify their interest and capabilities to respond to the requirement. A determination by the Government not to open the requirement to competition based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotation. A Request for Quote (RFQ) is not available. Closing date is December 29, 2008 at 10:00 AM Eastern Standard Time.
