Description: This acquisition is proceeding as a Competitive UNRESTRICTED, Request for Quotation (RFQ). This procurement will be conducted under FSC CODE: G003, SIC CODE: 7032, NAICS Code: 721211. The size standard for this code is $7,000,000. All questions should be directed to the Contracting Specialist, Fernando Garcia, at (415) 503-6989, FAX: No.: (415) 503-6694, e-mail Fernando.Garcia@usace.army.mil Estimated Cost Range (Base Year plus 4 Option Years) is between $25,000 and $100,000. JOB DESCRIPTION: Provide resident Park Attendant services at the public boat ramp facilities for Lake Sonoma. The Park Attendants shall provide all personnel, supplies, equipment and vehicles, except as otherwise specified, to perform these services. The resident Park Attendants shall provide and reside in a self-contained recreational vehicle and live in the park during their work assignment. There are two park attendant positions to be awarded. A two (2)-person team has the option to bid on one position and share the responsibilities or bid on two positions so that each partner will work a position. It is the responsibility of the park attendant to ensure adequate service and coverage of their responsibilities to the public. Prior approval of the Park Manager and Contracting Officer is required for park attendants to hire sub-contractors in their place. Duties include the collection of use fees, furnishing visitors information and brochures, assuring proper use of park facilities, documenting restroom maintenance needs or deficiencies. The solicitation will be available on or about 25 December 2008, for viewing / downloading documents. All FRQs will be due no later than 13 January 2009 / 4:00 pm PDT. The specific date and time will be identified in the solicitation. BIDDERS ARE ADVISED THAT THIS PROJECT MAY BE DELAYED, CANCELED OR REVISED AT ANY TIME DURING THE SOLICITATION, SELECTION, EVALUATION, NEGOTIATION AND/OR FINAL AWARD PROCESS. ORDERING SOLICITATION: Plans and specifications will NOT be provided in hard paper copy or CD-ROM format. The solicitation and all amendments for this acquisition will be posted on a secure Government website known as FedBizOpps (www.fbo.gov) once the IFB is issued. Viewing/downloading documents from FedBizOpps will require prior registration in Central Contractor Registration (www.ccr.gov). If you are a first-time FedBizOpps user, you will also be required to register in FedBizOpps (www.fbo.gov) before accessing the IFB documents.
