- NAICS Code: 721110 Combined Synopsis and SolicitationAgency: Environmental Protection Agency,Office of Acquisition Management (OAM)NAICS Code: 721110. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial services prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested, and a written solicitation will not be issued. This Request for Quotation (RFQ) no. RFQ-DC-10-00068, is for a conference facility for 80 people from 29 April 2010 through 30 April 2010. The incorporated provisions and clauses within the RFQ are those in effect thru Federal Acquisition Circular 05-30.Description of Requirement. EPA intends to host a conference on 29 April 2010 through 30 April 2010 for 80 people. The specifics are as follows: 1. The facility must be fifty miles outside of the perimeter of the District of Columbia, and have adequate parking; 2. Single occupancy lodging for 80 people on 29 April 2010 (must be within Government per diem rates for the area); 3. Lunch and dinner meals are required for 80 people on 29 April 2010; 4. Breakfast and lunch meals are required on 30 April 2010; 5. A large conference room for 80 people, and one/two break out rooms are required for both days; 6. Conference room must have audio/visual equipment and supplies for both days, to include: 6 flip-charts, markers, an overhead projector with a slide projector, an LCD projector and projector screen, a VCR & monitor, a podium, and microphone, whiteboards (non-electric), pencils, and pads for 80 people.7. Continuous refreshment breaks for both days.The following FAR provisions and clauses apply to this acquisition: 52.212-1, 52.212-3, 52-212-4, 52.212-5, 52.222-3, 52.222-26, 52.222-35, 52.222-36, 52.222-37, 52.222-50 and 52.232-33. These provisions may be viewed electronically at www.arnet.gov. Award can only be made to a Contractor registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) database.Submission. Provide a cost quote for each of the following: 1. Lodging and meals for both days (include an example of the menu for each meal); 2. Conference room rental for both days; 3. Audio/visual equipment and supplies as listed under item #6; 3. Quotes must be submitted via e-mail by 2:00 PM EST on Monday, 11 January 2010 to Faye Sas at sas.faye@epa.gov. Include relevant contact information such as facility/business name, physical address of facility, e-mail address and phone number of contact person. Evaluation of quotes will be made based upon availability and cost. A fixed price purchase order award will be made to the responsive offeror who represents the best value to the Government.
