- Description
- This synopsis is to announce that the Warner Robins Air Logistics Center (ALC), Robins AFB, GA, intends to solicit and negotiate, on a limited competition basis, services to perform repair of transducer, motional pickup units. NSN Nomenclature 5 Year Total Qty 6695-01-249-6166 Transducer, Motional Pickup 60 The Government intends to solicit International Enterprises, Inc, 108 Allen Street, Talladega, AL 35160-1302, CAGE 50218 and Rosemount Aerospace, Inc./Goodrich Sensor System, 14300 Judicial Road, Burnsville, MN, CAGE 59885 for the services described herein. The statutory authority permitting other than full and open competition is 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1). The contract is anticipated to be awarded as an Indefinite Delivery, Requirements type instrument with provisions for Firm Fixed Price repair Contract Line Items (CLINs). A solicitation will be issued on or about 20 January 2010. This proposed repair contract is for a basic twelve month ordering period, with four twelve month optional periods. This synopsis is NOT to be construed as a commitment by the Government or as a Request for Proposals. Interested parties may identify their interest and capability by submitting a Statement of Capabilities to Mr. Trellis Martin at Trellis.Martin@robins.af.mil. A determination by the Government whether or not to compete the contract based upon an assessment of responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether or not to conduct a competitive procurement. An Ombudsman has been appointed to address concerns from offerors or potential offerors not sufficiently addressed by the Contracting Officer. The Ombudsman does not diminish the authority of the Contracting Officer, but communicates contractor concerns, issues, disagreements, and recommendations to the appropriate Government personnel. When requested, the Ombudsman shall maintain strict confidentiality as to the source of the concern. The Ombudsman does not participate in the evaluation or selection process.
