SOLICITATION NUMBER: SPM7L2-10-R-0043 8. DESCRIPTION: The subject requirement is for the acquisition of 2 NSNs, 2530-01-412-5187 and 2590-01-289-6365. An Indefinite Quantity Long-Term Contract with 4 option years is anticipated. The total duration base plus option years shall not exceed 5 years. NAICs 336330 for FSC 2530 and NAICS 336330 also for 2590, applicable with Small Business Size Standard 750 for both.. Full and open competition after exclusion of sources (100% Small Business Set Aside). The solicitation will be available on or about January 26th 2010 at https://dibbs.bsm.dla.mil/RFP/. Drawing packages will be available as of the issue date of the solicitation. Hard copies are not available. Increments and delivery schedule will be noted on the RFP. FOB Destination is required. Inspection/Acceptance requirements will be noted on RFP. All responsible sources may submit an offer/quote, which shall be considered. It is the responsibility of the offeror to obtain the additional data that is necessary to manufacture the item and provide this evidence to the Government. While price may be a significant factor in the evaluation of offers, the final award decision will be based upon a combination of price, delivery, past performance, and other evaluation factors as described in the solicitation. Based upon market research, the Government is not using the policies contained in Part 12, Acquisition of Commercial Items, in its solicitation for the described supplies or services. Interested persons may identify to the contracting officer their interest and capability to satisfy the Government’s requirement with a commercial item within 15 days of this notice.
