Description

RECOVERY – THIS NOTICE IS FOR INFORMATIONAL PURPOSES ONLY AS REQUIRED UNDER THE AMERICAN RECOVERY AND REINVESTMENT ACT OF 2009 (ARRA). Notice: It is the intent of the Forest Service to use an existing Blanket Purchase Agreement (BPA) under GSA Contract No. GS-07F-602N to procure Prefabricated Concrete Vault Toilet Buildings for the Umatilla National Forest. This acquisition is being conducted under the authority of the Multiple Award Schedule Program (FAR 8.401 & FAR 8.405-3). The Forest Service will enter into negotiations with firms under the existing contracts to reach a best value determination for award. The Forest Service intends to utilize an existing Forest Service BPA for purchase, delivery and installation of thirty-one (31) pre-fabricated concrete vault type toilets into twenty-four (24) different locations throughout the Umatilla National Forest. The new pre-fabricated units will replace old facilities currently in place as well as add to the number of facilities at each location. These new facilities represent the Forest Service’s high priority with regards to public safety and health, environmental issues, and accommodations for people with disabilities. All project locations are within the Umatilla National Forest, Oregon and Washington.
