Description

The US Geological Survey, Hydrologic Instrumentation Facility, Stennis Space Center, MS 39529 intends to solicit on a sole source basis under the authority of FAR 6.302-1 to Forest Technology Systems Limited, 1065 Henry Eng Place, Victoria, BC V9B 6B2. This is Not a Solicitation; this is a Notice of Intent to Sole Source. The Hydrologic Instrumentation Facility is responsible for testing, evaluating and stocking specialized hydrologic instrumentation instruments for a variety of customers. This procurement is being conducted under Simplified Acquisition Procedures (SAP) only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. Forest Technology Systems Limited is the only known source for providing the H-2-G5-TLM, Forest Technology Systems H2 Datalogger with GPS Antenna, replacement parts for existing water level monitoring systems previously purchased. This purchase will allow standardization of replacement parts. There are no option periods. THIS NOTICE IS FOR INFORMATIONAL PURPOSES ONLY. THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE PROPOSALS. The Government intends to award this requirement noncompetitively IAW FAR 6.302-1 The NAICS code is 334513 The anticipated award date is 01/25/2010. A vendor must be registered at http://www.ccr.gov to be awarded a contract. All responsible sources may submit a bid or quotation which shall be considered by the agency.
