Description
RECOVERY. This Notice is for Information Purposes only. This opportunity is only available to the contractors under existing PREVIOUSLY COMPETED GSA Public Building Service, Areawide Utility Contracts applicable to the Thomas P. O'Neill Federal Building, Boston, MA. This procurement is a task order to existing IDIQ areawide contracts GS-00P-08-BSD-0574 and GS-00P-01-BSD-0121 to perform demand side management energy conservation measure services for the addition of solar array system on the Thomas P. O'Neill Federal Building, 10 Causeway Street, Boston, MA. This requirement will provide a minimum 30% of this facilities domestic hot water, an additional 45 kW of onsite electrical generation, and a data acquisition system that will talk to the regional meter server. Project will include complete integration with local electrical grid. This acquisition is subject to North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) of 221112 and 221210. A request for proposal (RFP) package is being issued to the following designated IDIQ contractors: Nstar Electric and Gas Corporation and National Grid. NStar and National Grid are mandated by Massachusetts legislation to support demand side management energy efficiency / renewable energy projects with its customer base. This demonstration project supports the GSA compliance/ achievement of Recovery Project (ARRA), EISA 2007, EPACT 2005 and Executive Orders requirements. This notice is not a solicitation for offers.
